The AMIC Best Livestock Agritech award recognises the agritech that has generated outstanding livestock results through innovative yet stable, sustainable operations, and their ability to serve their clients while sustaining sound business performance.
Indicators such as competitiveness of pricing, novel use of innovation and technology, growth and customer recognition can be included.

BEST VITICULTURE / HORTICULTURE AGRITECH
This award recognises the agritech that has generated outstanding horticulture or viticulture results through innovative yet stable, sustainable operations, and their ability to serve their clients while sustaining sound business performance.
Indicators such as competitiveness of pricing, novel use of innovation and technology, growth and customer recognition can be included.
BEST FARM MANAGEMENT agritech
This award recognises the agritech that has demonstrated the best technology to
manage whole farm operations. Applications can include reference to best practices in monitoring, integration, reporting and compliance.
Indicators such as competitiveness of pricing, novel use of innovation and technology, growth and customer recognition can be included.
BEST AGRITECH PLATFORM
This award recognises the organisation with the most successful and innovative platform in agrifood tech (or adjacent areas such as climate tech, enviro tech, clean tech etc.) that has experienced the highest growth and recognition and offers the widest functionality.
Indicators such as new ways of distribution, competitiveness of pricing, ease of adoption, novel use of technology and growth can be included.
TELSTRA - BEST IOT PLATFORM
The Telstra Best IoT Platform award recognises the organisation with the most successful and innovative application of IoT in agrifood tech (or adjacent areas such as climate tech, enviro tech, clean tech etc.) that has experienced the highest growth and recognition and offers the widest functionality.
Indicators such as competitiveness of pricing, novel use of innovation and technology, growth and customer recognition can be included.

This award recognises the agritech that has demonstrated the most innovative technologically-enabled advances in agrifood tech.
Indicators such as new ways of distribution, competitiveness of pricing, ease of adoption and use of technology in new ways along with growth can be included.
BEST CLIMATE / IMPACT TECH
This award recognises the organisation providing the most innovative, cost-effective and high- quality B2B or B2C climate and impact technology solutions.
Indicators such as competitiveness of pricing, novel use of innovation and technology, growth and customer recognition can be included.
BEST ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT TECH
This award recognises the agritech that has demonstrated the most successful and innovative application of technology in environmental management (i.e. water monitoring, soil and fertiliser management, climate).
Indicators such as new ways of distribution, competitiveness of pricing, ease of adoption and use of technology in new ways along with growth can be included.
BEST FINTECH IN AGRITECH
This award recognises the agritech that has demonstrated the most innovative technologically-enabled advances in enviro tech, including water management, soil and environment.

NAB - INNOVATOR OF THE YEAR
The NAB Innovator of the Year award recognises the agritech that has demonstrated outstanding advances in agrifood tech innovation.

CEAT - BEST IN UNIVERSITY COMMERCIALISATION
The CEAT Best in University Commercialisation award recognises the agritech with the best outcome and adoption in University commercialisation. Note: this section is open only to agritechs who have come out of University hubs, University funded accelerator programs or research programs.

AGRIFUTURES - EMERGING AGRITECH LEADER OF THE YEAR
The AgriFutures Emerging Agritech Leader of the Year recognises an individual who has demonstrated significant contribution and emerging leadership in agrifood tech in 2022.
To be eligible for this award, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, have been in active in the ecosystem for more than two (2) years, and demonstrate substantial contribution to the agritech ecosystem in Australia.
Indicators such as contribution as a leader in an active Australian agritech, event and ecosystem contributions, speaking engagements and thought leadership that advances the ecosystem can be included.

AGRITECH LEADER OF THE YEAR
This award recognises an individual who has demonstrated significant contribution and established leadership in agrifood tech in 2022.
To be eligible for this award, you must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident, have been in active in the ecosystem for more than five (5) years, and demonstrate substantial contribution to the agritech ecosystem in Australia.
Indicators such as contribution as a leader in an active Australian agritech organisation, event and ecosystem contributions, speaking engagements and thought leadership that advances the ecosystem can be included.
BAYER - FEMALE AGRITECH LEADER OF THE YEAR
This Bayer Female Agritech Leader of the Year award recognises the female who has demonstrated significant contribution and leadership in agrifood tech in 2022.
To be eligible for this award, you must be a female identifying Australian citizen or permanent resident, have been in active in the ecosystem for more than two (2) years, and demonstrate substantial contribution to the agritech ecosystem in Australia.
Indicators such as contribution as a leader in an active Australian agritech organisation, event and ecosystem contributions, speaking engagements and thought leadership that advances the ecosystem can be included.

RESEARCHER OF THE YEAR
This award recognises the individual researcher that has demonstrated the most innovative technologically-enabled advances in research and provided the most impact in agritech (or adjacent sectors) in 2022.
To be eligible for this award, you must be anAustralian citizen or permanent resident, have been in active in the ecosystem for more than two (2) years, and demonstrate substantial contribution to research in agrifood tech in Australia.
Indicators such as contribution as a leader in an agrifood technology research, ecosystem contributions, thought leadership that advances the ecosystem can be included.
AGRITECH HALL OF FAME
This award recognises the individual who has made significant lifetime contributions to the advancement of agrifood tech, and has contributed exponentially to the growth, recognition and impact of the sector in Australia.
To be eligible for this award, you must be an Australian citizen or resident, have been working in your field for more than ten years (CEO/C-suite/Executive director or equivalent position) and have made substantial contributions to the agritech ecosystem in Australia.
You can also nominate an individual for this award.

These awards are open to any Agrifood Tech Startup, Hub or Incubator/Accelerator operating in Australia.
SPROUTX - STARTUP OF THE YEAR
The SproutX Startup of the Year Award recognises the agrifood tech startup of the year.
To be eligible for this award, the business must have been operating for over 12 months (but less than three years) and have under ten (10) staff.
Indicators such as it growth in turnover, market share, number of customers, business expansion, new product development and capital raising can be included.

SCALE UP OF THE YEAR
This award recognises the agrifood tech scale up of the year.
To be eligible for this award, the business must have been operating for over three (3) years, have 10-150 staff and have an annual turnover of $3million+.
Indicators such as it growth in turnover, market share, number of customers, number of staff, export, business expansion, new product development and capital raising can be included.
MAJOR AWARDS

These awards are open to any Agrifood Tech Startup, Hub or Incubator/Accelerator operating in Australia.
FARMERS & INDUSTRY CHOICE AWARD
This award recognises the agritech who is voted by farmers, producers and industry members as Farmers & Industry Choice.
This is open to public vote, however agritechs must self-nominate to be included for consideration.
To qualify for this award, agritechs must be Australian owned/operated and be able to demonstrate customer recognition by farmers/producers and the wider agritech ecosystem.
AGRITECH OF THE YEAR
This award recognises agritech who has demonstrated the most impactful and transformative new agrifood tech innovation of 2022.
Indicators such as new ways of distribution, competitiveness of pricing, ease of adoption and use of technology in new ways along with growth can be included.
Must provide 1-3 examples of customer testimonials, marketing collateral or other sources of information (such as any audited financial or business metrics and/or statements, or third-party independent party reports) as evidence to support your submission.
AUSTRALIAN AGRIFOOD TECH PITCH EVENT 2022 WINNER
This award recognises the agritech who is considered by Investors at the Investor Showcase as having the best Agrifood Tech Pitch for 2022.
To qualify for this award, organisations must pitch at the Investor Showcase. Investors will then vote on the best pitch of the event, and the organisation with the highest number of votes will be announced as the winner.
